Court Purposes Property Valuation
Court-ready property valuations for NSW Supreme Court, Federal Court, and tribunal proceedings. Our certified valuers provide independent assessments accepted by courts, the ATO, and all major lenders.
"Every court purposes valuation we prepare is personally inspected by a Certified Practising Valuer. We provide independent, unbiased assessments that you can rely on for your legal, financial, or tax matter."
— Malcolm Craig CPV, Director
Property valuations for court proceedings must meet a higher standard than standard commercial valuations: they must withstand cross-examination by opposing counsel, address the specific questions identified by the court, and be prepared by a valuer who is willing to defend their opinion under oath.
Our certified valuers are experienced in preparing court-ready valuation reports for a wide range of legal proceedings, including:
- Supreme Court of NSW — Property disputes, partnership dissolutions, caveat matters
- Land and Environment Court — Compulsory acquisition compensation, valuation of resumed land
- Federal Circuit and Family Court — Family law asset pool assessments
- NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal (NCAT) — Strata disputes, tenancy matters
- Administrative Appeals Tribunal — ATO valuation disputes
Expert witness: Our valuers are available to act as expert witnesses in court proceedings, providing oral evidence in support of their written reports. We are familiar with the requirements of Uniform Civil Procedure Rules (UCPR) Schedule 7 for expert witnesses and prepare our reports to comply with those requirements.
Single expert appointments: Courts frequently appoint a single expert valuer to provide an independent assessment where the parties cannot agree on a joint valuation. Our valuers are experienced in acting in this capacity and maintaining the independence required.
Timeline: Court valuations typically require more detailed analysis and research than standard valuations. Allow 5–10 business days from instruction; urgent matters can be accommodated with advance notice.
